Hello, writer! I’m Elizabeth Pettersson, a Fictionary StoryCoach developmental editor, writing and publishing coach, and Writer’s Digest award-winning author. I publish fiction under the pen name E. A. Carter.
Since 2017, I have published seven award-winning books.
I also spent four years working with award-winning author, editor, and Royal Literary Fellow Katherine Stansfield, who taught me how to approach both writing and revision with an editor’s eye.

Meet Your Editor and Coach
Elizabeth Pettersson is a Canadian editor and book coach based in Poland, working online with independent authors internationally.
She is a certified Fictionary StoryCoach developmental editor, self-publishing consultant, podcast host, and co-founder of LitLaunch. She publishes award-winning fiction under the pen name E. A. Carter.
Before publishing her first novel, Elizabeth spent two years completing three major structural edits under the guidance of award-winning author, poet, and Royal Literary Fellow Katherine Stansfield.
She has since independently published five books and supports writers through story development, manuscript revision, editing, publishing preparation, and launch planning.
Elizabeth hosts the podcast Creative, Actually and is committed to providing independent authors with clear, practical, and encouraging support while helping them retain creative control over their books and publishing careers.
